Job summary

The Hospital Of St John & St Elizabeth is seeking a dynamic Senior Radiographer to join our busy Imaging Department in London. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across general x-ray, theatres and fluoroscopy and contribute to governance, health and safety, and audits.

We require HCPC registration, a Diploma or BSc in Radiography, and at least 2 years post-qualification experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for delivering high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or BSc Hons (required).
• Evidence of CPD activities.
• 2 years post-qualification experience in diagnostic imaging.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Evidence of decision making skills.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently & accurately.
• Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical justification of radiography referrals.
• Acquire diagnostic images and position patients across general x-ray, theatres and fluoroscopy.
• Operate advanced software on radiological equipment.
• Participate in governance, risk management and audit activities.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflow within the department.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and professional conduct.
• Review images with radiologists to determine additional imaging needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and ensure service continuity.
