Job summary

The Portland Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join the Imaging team for a maternity cover contract. You’ll work across General X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy and interventional theatre imaging, in a patient-centred environment, supporting complex procedures and multidisciplinary teams.

HCPC registration and a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography are required, with substantial post-registration experience and a focus on radiation safety.

Qualifications

• HCPC Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Significant post-registration experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Experience in General X-ray, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Imaging.
• Understanding of radiation protection legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality imaging across General X-ray, CT and Interventional Radiology in paediatric and adult patients.
• Support complex theatre and interventional procedures in collaboration with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain high professional standards and contribute to service development and continuous improvement.
• Provide a safe, compassionate, patient-centred experience and support colleagues across the Imaging Department.
