Job summary

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our Radiology team. You will be HCPC registered with a BSc in diagnostic radiography and substantial experience in plain film and theatre radiology. The role involves weekend work and participation in an on-call X-ray service.

You will deliver a high-quality imaging service across department, ward and theatre, supervise and mentor junior colleagues, and help develop policies to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• BSc in diagnostic radiography or equivalent and HCPC registration.
• We require a wealth of experience specialising in plain film and theatre radiology.
• Senior radiographer with a track record in radiology services and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload across department, ward and theatre.
• Lead and supervise junior colleagues.
• Help develop policies and procedures and maintain service quality and compassion.

This full time position involves a commitment to weekend working along with participation in an on-call service for X-Ray.
