Job summary

Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our Derby radiology team. You will hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, be HCPC registered, and bring extensive experience in plain film and theatre radiography.

The role is full-time with weekend work and on-call duties. You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across department, ward and theatre settings, supervise junior colleagues, and contribute to policy development while upholding compassionate patient care

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration is required
• Experience in plain film and theatre radiography

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures

• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

As a SeniorRadiographer at our Derby Hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, along with a wealth of experience specialising within plain film and theatre Radiography.

This full time position involves a commitment to weekend working along with participation in an on‑call service for X‑Ray.
