Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Supervisor to lead a Quotes & Tender team in the UKI region, driving procurement excellence. Based at our Hemel Hempstead office with three days in the office and two days remote, you’ll shape bid strategy, manage performance and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal and Procurement.

You’ll oversee end-to-end tendering and quotations, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop a high-performing, structured team focused on timely, accurate submissions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement and tendering in a UKI environment.
• Experience in commercial, bids or operational roles.
• Familiarity with UK/IE procurement frameworks and compliance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• High level of commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team to achieve objectives.
• Oversee daily workflow and prioritise tasks.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Manage escalations; resolve issues promptly and professionally.

• Oversee end-to-end tendering and quotation processes for UKI.
• Ensure submissions meet UKI procurement regulations and governance.
• Review pricing, cost models and commercial proposals.
• Manage tender timelines and deadlines.
• Identify risks and opportunities within bids.
• Align bid strategy with key stakeholders.
