Job summary

Damicor Ltd is helping an established infrastructure contractor find a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of water and utilities projects from procurement to final account. Based at Maple Lodge, Hertfordshire, you will drive profitability, manage risk and support project teams across multiple schemes.

Key responsibilities include budgets, valuations, variations and subcontractor accounts, with NEC contract experience essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, utilities or water sectors.
• Strong commercial management experience on infrastructure projects.
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and contractual administration.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, compensation events and subcontractor accounts.
• Strong understanding of project costs, forecasting, cash flow and commercial reporting.
• Confident negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Damicor is supporting an established infrastructure contractor in the search for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based at Maple Lodge. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take a senior role in the financial and commercial management of projects across the water and utilities sectors. Working closely with project management and operational teams, you will help drive commercial performance, manage project risk and ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maximising profitability.
