Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Cumbria to lead commercial delivery on complex infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will supervise the project commercial team, manage subcontractors, and drive contract administration and value realisation across stakeholders.

The role requires chartered status (RICS or CIOB) or equivalent, a BSc, and experience in civil/infrastructure contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and managing a project commercial team.
• Knowledge of subcontract management and contract administration.
• Chartered membership is advantageous (RICS or CIOB).
• Strong understanding of civil and infrastructure commercial aspects.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract management and project commercial actions.
• Manage junior project commercial staff.
• Deliver and account for internal/external commercial targets.
• Engage with project stakeholders including client team.
• Ensure accurate data communication to all stakeholders.
• Highlight issues to the commercial manager.
• Maintain compliance with processes and plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Quantity Surveying.
