One Way Resourcing has partnered with an established UK construction group to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor for its steel division. The role offers hybrid working from the Wimborne area and travel to Hampshire/London as needed, with commercial responsibility for structural steel packages on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates will have prior QS/SQS experience in construction, strong cost management, valuations, variations, and final accounts, plus excellent stakeholder

Competenze

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Background within construction, structural steel or specialist subcontracting.
• Strong commercial and cost management experience.
• Experience managing valuations and variations.
• Experience with applications for payment and final accounts.
• Good contractual and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and project teams.
• Ability to manage your own commercial workload.
• A relevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualification would be advantageous.
