Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join a well-known family-run social housing contractor in Ongar. You will undertake all quantity surveying duties on contracts, manage financial and legal aspects, and work with the design/build team.

The role requires strong commercial awareness, knowledge of building law, and at least 2 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Tier 1 or 2 contractors. Salary £62,000–£65,000 plus company car allowance.

Qualifikationen

• A very high level of commercial awareness of the industry (≤140 chars).
• Understanding of building law and statutory requirements.
• Experience with financial management and contract law.

Aufgaben

• Undertake all Quantity Surveying duties on contracts.
• Direct and control financial and legal aspects of contracts to maintain profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and their teams.
• Prepare loss and expense claims arising from extension of time.
• Manage design on design-and-build contracts for financial benefit.
• Establish procurement strategy and schedules aligned with project timelines.
