Job summary

You will ensure timely payments, resolve disputed items, and present site valuations to the Board to explain variances from budgets. The role also involves negotiating rates to maximise margins and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND/HNC in building relating studies.
• Previous experience in the UK residential house building sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects with strong project and time management.

Responsibilities

• Set up budgets for up to several sites and manage valuations bi-monthly.
• Process subcontractor payments and maintain cost control to support decisions.
• Produce site valuations and present to the Board showing variances from budget.
• Negotiate subcontractor rates to maximise margins and efficiency.
• Liaise with Construction, Sales, Customer Care and Accounts to run sites smoothly.
• Mentor and train junior team members and deputise for the Manager as needed.
