Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd in the North East of England is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a forthcoming scheme. You will bring proven experience in regional contracting and manage commercial aspects of projects up to £8m from inception to completion.

Candidates should be comfortable working across Newcastle to Leeds, reviewing contracts, supporting procurement, and advising internal teams on commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, specifications, and tender documentation
• Identify commercial risks and scope gaps
• Provide contractual and commercial advice to internal teams
• Support negotiations on terms and conditions
• Assist with procurement strategies, payment terms, and cash flow planning
• Support complex bids and attend pre-start meetings where required
