Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Preston-based team. You will take commercial responsibility for several projects, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships across a range of sectors.

The role involves managing budgets, tendering, subcontractor negotiations, and continuous cost control while interfacing with project managers and site teams to protect margins on projects valued up to £5m.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor with 5-10+ years' industry exposure.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple live projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects.
• Subcontractor procurement, tendering and negotiation.
• Managing valuations, applications and payments.
• Cost control and cash flow management.
• Agreeing final accounts with subcontractors and clients.
• Collaborating with Project Managers and site teams.
• Identifying commercial opportunities and protecting margins.
