Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding UK nuclear team.

You will report to the commercial manager and provide commercial support and management to the project commercial team, ensuring timely and accurate contract administration. Key duties include subcontract procurement and management, coaching of junior staff, procurement scheduling, and ensuring compliance with project plans and stakeholder requirements while driving continuous improvement in quantity surveying

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience within a project commercial team.
• Knowledge and/or experience of the procurement/management of subcontract agreements.
• BSc in a related subject or equivalent experience.
• Chartered membership of a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage, but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with a Contract Management System (CEMAR etc).
• Capable of obtaining or currently holding a UK Nuclear industry clearance.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract procurement & management, and general project commercial actions.
• Management & coaching of junior project commercial staff.
• Production and management of procurement schedule.
• Delivery and accountability for the procurement of framework subcontractors as well as internal and external project commercial targets.
• Engagement with project stakeholders.
