Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a contract position within an established engineering and construction environment delivering high-value nuclear projects. You will take a lead in commercial management on major schemes, guiding contracts from award to final account.

Responsibilities include administering variations, negotiating changes, and working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to optimise profitability and maintain long-term client

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong background in a commercial role within construction or engineering.
• Solid working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and build long-term client relationships.
• Experience managing variations while maintaining repeat business.

This is a contract role working in an established team delivering high-value, complex nuclear projects..

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of major projects, working closely with high-profile clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong background in a commercial role within the construction or engineering sector
• Solid working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and build long-term client relationships
• Understanding of fabrication processes (desirable)
• Experience managing variations while maintaining repeat business
