Job summary

Aptus Utilities Ltd. is seeking a commercially focused professional to manage a portfolio of multi-utility projects from cost reporting through to final accounts.

You will own the commercial cycle, engage with clients, and coordinate with design, operations and finance to ensure strong commercial outcomes. Responsibilities include preparing CVRs, managing variations and valuations, and safeguarding timely payments while maintaining robust project records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or QS role within utility construction or civil engineering.
• Knowledge of cost reporting, variation management and contract administration.
• Understanding of client valuations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit CVRs and Project P&L reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify, submit and manage client variations with justification and payment.
• Prepare client valuations and manage submission, agreement and payment.
• Report on commercial performance with design, operations and finance teams.
• Present monthly performance data in meetings and own the financial position.
• Manage debt, pursue payments and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare and agree final accounts for clients and subcontractors.
• Support subcontractor cost control and flag cost exposure to manager.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and contract compliance.
• Maintain compliant project commercial records and aid wider team delivery.
