Job summary

Advance TRS on the South Coast, UK, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery across a varied portfolio. Hybrid working within the Buildings team, with projects spanning Education, Healthcare, Defence and more.

The role requires MRICS or equivalent qualification and proven Quantity Surveying/Cost Management experience, plus strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge and client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven quantity surveying/cost management experience in property and development.
• Strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge.
• Employer's Agent experience is desirable.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial delivery on projects - owning cost, quality and programme.
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, forecasts and contract administration.
• Act as commercial advisor and Employer's Agent, building strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and support team development.

Contract knowledge: NEC and/or JCT

Location: South Coast, UK (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery across a varied portfolio - no single-sector repetition, real variety of live projects. Sectors including Education, Healthcare, Defence and much more available within the Buildings team.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading commercial delivery on projects - owning cost, quality and programme
• Preparing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and contract administration
• Acting as commercial advisor and Employer's Agent, building strong client relationships
• Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and supporting team development
• Contributing to bids, proposals and business development

Essential requirements:

• MRICS (Chartered Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent qualification
• Proven Quantity Surveying / Cost Management experience in property and development
• Strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge
• Employer's Agent experience desirable
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
