Job summary

redfish solutions ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team delivering luxury residential schemes across London. You will take ownership of commercial delivery from pre-construction through final account, overseeing budgets, cost plans and subcontractor procurement.

You will work closely with Project Managers and the wider delivery team to ensure projects are delivered commercially, on budget and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor.
• Strong background in high-end residential refurbishment or bespoke new-build projects.
• Excellent knowledge of subcontractor procurement, cost control and contract administration.
• Experience managing projects commercially from inception through to completion.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Preparing budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monthly cost reports.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and package negotiations.
• Overseeing valuations, variations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Managing contractual matters and identifying commercial risks.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and the wider delivery team.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensuring projects are delivered commercially and within budget.
