Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of projects from award to completion in the UK&I region. You will lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring robust financial outcomes and mitigating risk, while providing expert commercial and contractual guidance to Sales and Projects teams.

You will coach apprentices and drive growth on major regional projects, balancing multiple priorities with disciplined planning and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor on projects ranging from £100k to £10m.
• Experience leading large commercial projects in MEP environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantity surveying and commercial management from contract award to completion.
• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and coach apprentices.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to Sales and Projects teams.
• Manage change processes, claims and final accounts to ensure profitability.
