Job summary

Hampshire Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Manchester office. You will lead a small commercial team and drive commercial performance across civil engineering, renewable energy, data centres and utilities projects.

Experience in tendering, procurement, contract negotiation and NEC/JCT contract administration is essential. You will deliver cost forecasts, manage risks and mentor two junior surveyors, while supporting the tender and procurement functions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor in major infrastructure projects.
• Strong tendering, procurement and contract negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from tender award to final account.
• Lead tendering activities including cost planning and bid submissions.
• Negotiate and administer NEC and JCT contracts; manage variations and final accounts.
• Oversee procurement and subcontract package management.
• Produce cost forecasts and CVR reports; manage client and subcontractor relationships.
