Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Fanellan substation project near Beauly, Inverness-shire. You will begin at Kilsyth and transition to site, with a minimum of three days on site per week and two days at a head office. A living-away allowance and other benefits are provided.

The role emphasizes commercial leadership, contract negotiation, and mentoring of the commercial team within a high-performing infrastructure environment in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor experience with multiple projects.
• Experience mentoring and coaching direct reports.
• Ability to collaborate with Client, Project Managers and Designers.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with focus on quality, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead contract negotiations for profitability and value.
• Provide commercial guidance to site team and management.
