ABS Commercial Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to help manage commercial on a portfolio of North West utilities and infrastructure projects, across client offices and sites.

You will own budgets, forecasts and payments, oversee subcontractors, manage change, and protect project value while working with project managers and stakeholders.

This varied role offers exposure to NEC forms and diverse delivery environments, with home working optional and site visits as required.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or in a comparable commercial role.
• Strong commercial management experience within utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering.
• Experience managing project costs, subcontractors, change control and contractual matters.

Responsabilidades

• Managing the commercial performance of projects or work packages from start to completion.
• Taking ownership of budgets, forecasts, valuations, applications for payment and financial reporting.
• Overseeing subcontractor procurement, commercial negotiations and account management.
• Managing change control, variations, compensation events and contractual entitlements where applicable.
• Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial procedures and contractual requirements.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks, opportunities and potential financial exposure.
• Preparing and reviewing cost reports, forecasts, valuations and final accounts.
• Working closely with project managers, operational teams, clients and subcontractors.
• Supporting commercial negotiations and resolving contractual or financial issues.
• Identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance and protect project margins.
• Providing guidance and support to other members of the commercial team where required.
