Job summary

Foster & May in Hertfordshire is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our head office team. The role focuses on healthcare projects, including theatres and refurbishments, with project values up to £100m. You will run your own projects from inception to completion and mentor junior surveyors.

The successful candidate will work closely with the QS Director on-site and in the office, based in Hertfordshire, with opportunities for career progression to Associate and Director levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is required.
• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Based in/around Hertfordshire.
• PQS/Consultancy background.
• Healthcare project experience would be ideal.
• Able to run your own projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the QS Director and team to run an array of healthcare projects.
• Interact with clients on site and manage cost plans and contractual aspects.
• Mentor and develop junior quantity surveyors within the team.
• Lead projects from inception to completion with oversight from senior management.
• Manage projects up to £100m and contribute to business growth.

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar

MRICS preferred
