Senior Quantity Surveyor - Gas

Location options include Aberdeen, Grangemouth, Middlesbrough, Warrington, Reading, and Fareham.

The Role

Key Activities

• Provide accurate live forecasting, considering the project programme, and report in accordance with SAP accounts, including internal resource charges, subcontract spend, procurement, and other costs.
• Ensure SAP accurately reflects project and framework contract status regarding revenue, costs, WIP, and obligations.
• Monitor and assess actual costs against baseline estimates, including site costs, direct labour, plant & materials, management bookings, and challenge variances.
• Demonstrable experience with electronic contract administration systems such as Fastdraft, CEMAR, Conject, Aconex.
• Keep proper records for audits and cost assurance, ensuring financial information is readily available.
• Provide robust estimates and quotations aligned with scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Report withheld, disputed, or disallowed costs to the Project Manager and Project Board, and exclude inadmissible costs from project/programme costs.
• Participate actively in Contract Reviews and Project Boards.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Contract administration experience with NEC3/4 contracts.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary operational and project teams.
• Degree in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying.
• Membership of a professional body such as RICS (preferred).
