Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor specialising in facades and cladding. Based in Potters Bar, you will manage commercial aspects across multiple projects from tender to final account.

You’ll lead cost reporting, valuations, variations, and negotiations, while overseeing subcontractor packages and ensuring contractual compliance. Opportunities for progression exist in a growing specialist contractor.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within cladding and facades.
• Minimum 3 years' experience on façade and cladding packages.
• Background with specialist cladding contractor or main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of cladding systems, materials and installation methods.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Excellent contractual and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of façade and cladding packages from tender through final account.
• Preparation, submission, and negotiation of valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Contract administration and risk management.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance.
• Manage client relationships and attend commercial meetings.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
