Linxon is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Lead Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial and contractual management of large EPC projects, ensuring cost control and rigorous contract administration.

The role requires experience with NEC4 contracts, strong risk management, and leadership in pre- and post-contract processes. Based at Bulls Lodge, Chelmsford, it offers a challenging opportunity within a growing substation-focused engineering business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• MRICS/CIOB or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Experience as a QS on large-scale EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contract management of large projects across pre- and post-contract stages.
• Provide guidance on tendering activities, contract options and budget estimates including risk and contingency allowances.
• Maintain QA of contracts, oversee data records, support cost management.
• Conduct risk reviews and implement risk management techniques.
• Perform valuations, cash flow management and payment applications.
• Prepare commercial reports, cost analyses and financial statements.
• Support change management and variation control processes.
