Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a Glasgow-based Data Centre project. This role supports the commercial management across the project lifecycle, delivering cost control and procurement activities.

You will work in a hybrid environment with UK-wide opportunities, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and contributing to value engineering while upholding our standards and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Project QS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial requirements through the project lifecycle.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Procurement of Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review correspondence to identify contractually critical items.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.
• Manage change order procedures and agree costs with client.
