Job summary

Notting Hill Genesis is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead its independent QS and cost assurance service within the Repairs team. You will provide commercial leadership across contractor pricing, variations, valuations and cost management to ensure value for money with robust decision making.

You will bring expertise in Schedule of Rates and strengthen NHG’s in-house capability, driving governance and cost control across repairs programmes.

Qualifications

• Qualified quantity surveyor with cost management experience.
• Experience with Schedule of Rates (SOR) frameworks.
• Experience in housing/regulated environments.
• Ability to review, challenge and validate pricing and variations.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent cost assurance across Repairs and challenge contractor pricing.
• Own and maintain the Schedule of Rates (SOR) for consistency and benchmarking.
• Develop and manage a team of Commercial Officers.
• Provide robust challenge on pricing and identify cost risks.
• Deliver cost insight and benchmarking to support value-for-money assessments.
• Collaborate with contractors, Repairs SMT, and Procurement while maintaining independence.
