ARC (Norwich) Ltd, a well-known social housing contractor, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor in a permanent role. The position offers a salary of £62,000 to £65,000 per year plus a company car allowance and is based on-site on a project with a defined procurement strategy and cost controls.

Responsibilities include directing all financial and legal aspects of the contract, building client relationships, handling loss and expense claims, and ensuring subcontractor pre-approval.

• To undertake all Quantity Surveying duties on your contracts.
• To direct and control all financial and legal aspects of your construction contract ensuring that it is profitable.
• To be aware of the company's business plan and its aims.
• To establish, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships with the client and all members of the client’s team.
• Prepare any loss and expense claims arising out of the extension of time claims.
• Ensure all subcontractors are on our approved list.
• Working with the contract team to manage the design on a design and build contract with a view of ensuring that changes are made for the financial benefit of the company.
• Working with the team to ensure that the request for information schedule Includes and financial or legal elements.
• To establish a procurement strategy, with a procurement schedule in line with the time requirements of the operational and design deliverables for the project.

Our client, a well-known family run social housing contractor is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis due to company expansion.
