Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering highways and civil engineering schemes across Bristol and the South West. You will lead commercial management on major packages, working with operational teams to control costs and manage changes.

The role requires NEC contracts experience, subcontractor management and strong commercial awareness, with clear progression opportunities in a stable regional workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and reporting.
• Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
• Ready to progress into a senior role.

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BRISTOL

I'm recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major highways and civil engineering projects across Bristol and the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team with a strong regional workload and long-term opportunities for progression.

You'll take responsibility for the commercial management of projects and packages, working closely with operational teams across cost management, forecasting, subcontractor management, change and contractual matters.

What we're looking for:

• Quantity Surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts - essential
• Experience managing subcontractors and commercial reporting
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Senior Quantity Surveyors or experienced QSs ready to progress into a senior position

Experience could come from highways, infrastructure, water, utilities, rail, earthworks or wider civil engineering.
