Job summary

Cumming Group in Manchester is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join its client-facing cost management team. You’ll take ownership of cost management tasks on projects from feasibility through to completion, working with clients and senior colleagues to drive outcomes.

Applicants should have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 2–5 years of cost management experience, and ideally MRICS or working towards. Excellent stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or similar.
• MRICS (or working towards) preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience in cost management or consultancy.
• Good knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC contracts a benefit).
• Exposure to pre- and post-contract stages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

• deliver cost plans, budgets, and reporting
• Manage valuations, forecasts, and financial performance
• Assist with contract administration (JCT / NEC)
• Support risk and value management processes

Your Experience
