Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major infrastructure project in Sudbury. The role is hybrid, with 3 days on-site and a 45-hour week.

You will commercially manage packages across 11km of underground cable works, administer NEC contracts, prepare payment applications, manage CVRs and cost reporting, and support compensation events within a large delivery team.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years' QS experience.
• Strong construction or major infrastructure background.
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Experience with civils, utilities, power, cables or similar infrastructure advantageous.
• FastDraft experience desirable.
• RICS qualification desirable but not essential.
• Able to work effectively within a large project and commercial team.
• Able to commit to approximately 3 days per week in Sudbury.

Location: Sudbury, Suffolk

Rate: £549/day Umbrella

Contract: Until April 2027

Working pattern: Hybrid, ideally 3 days per week on site/in the office

Hours: 45 hours per week

My T1 Contractor client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure project in Sudbury.

The role will support commercial delivery across packages of work related to an 11km of underground cable, with particular responsibility for HDD, trenching, ducting and associated civils works.

• Commercial management of assigned infrastructure packages

• Supporting compensation events, valuations and commercial change
• Working closely with delivery, engineering and wider commercial teams
