Zusammenfassung

Costain is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Area 14 Highways Maintenance team in the North East of England. You will manage main and subcontract accounts and provide commercial and contractual advice to maximise margin, while supporting and coaching the project team.

Based in the North East, you will work with our JV partner Jacobs to deliver commercial leadership on cyclical maintenance, reactive works, incident response and minor capital interventions for the National Highways

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Senior Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• Experience with main and subcontract accounts.
• Ability to provide commercial and contractual advice to maximize margin.
• Ability to coach and support project team members.

Our Area 14 Highways Maintenance team has a rare opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the team in the management of the works, including management of the main and subcontract accounts, providing commercial and contractual advice, seeking opportunities to deliver increased margin and provide coaching and support for the team members.

Area 14 Maintenance & Response Contract is a Joint Venture between Costain and Jacobs to provide a maintenance and response service for National Highways on the Strategic Road Network in Area 14 which is in the North-East of England. As part of this service Costain Jacobs undertakes cyclical maintenance, reactive maintenance, incident response, severe weather response and minor capital interventions (scheme works).
