Job summary

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is actively seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Manchester. The successful candidate will join a specialist subcontractor delivering refurbishment projects in hospitals, schools and commercial buildings.

The role requires strong experience in subcontracting, commercial discipline and the ability to manage packages from procurement to final account. SFS/drylining exposure is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong subcontracting background is essential.
• Good commercial and contractual awareness.
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage projects from procurement through to final account.
• SFS/drylining experience is advantageous but not essential.

We are currently recruiting for Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join an established specialist subcontractor working across the North West. Our client specialises in SFS and drylining, delivering a variety of refurbishment projects across hospitals, schools and commercial buildings.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced QS or Senior QS with a subcontracting background. Experience within SFS or drylining would be advantageous, but any strong subcontracting background will be considered.

What We're Looking For

• Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor experience
• Previous subcontracting background - essential
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and commercial performance
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage projects from procurement through to final account
• SFS / drylining experience advantageous but not essential
