Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Warrington team on a full-time basis. The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home) and a broad project portfolio across residential, healthcare, commercial, education and more.

You will deliver pre and post-contract QS services, take commercial responsibility from inception to final accounts, and mentor junior team members within a growing practice. Salary is £55,000–£65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior QS level or ready to progress.
• Main contractor or contractor-side experience preferred.
• Experience across both pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying across varied projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Take commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to final account.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and financial reports.
• Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice and support to clients and project teams.
• Attend client and project meetings and develop strong working relationships.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level Quantity Surveyors.

Bennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Northern team.

The successful candidate will join a business delivering Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a diverse range of projects. Their portfolio includes residential, healthcare, commercial, education, refurbishment and fit-out projects, with work undertaken for a broad range of clients across the UK.

This is a key appointment within the Warrington office, offering the opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects while working alongside another Senior Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will also support the development of junior and mid-level team members within a collaborative and growing team.
