Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Ely office on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers full pre- and post-contract QS duties across a varied portfolio and requires strong client-facing skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.

The position offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), a salary between £60,000 and £70,000 plus package, and clear opportunities for long-term career progression across the UK projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally Senior level or ready to step up.
• Strong pre and post-contract QS experience across sectors is preferred.
• Commercially astute with ability to manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Manage projects from initial cost planning and procurement through to final account.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, tender documentation, Bills of Quantities and cost reports.
• Manage valuations, variations, change control and final account negotiations.
• Attend client, site and commercial meetings and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Support and mentor junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.
• Travel to project sites and client locations across the UK as required.

Bennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The successful candidate will join a business delivering Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a varied portfolio of projects. Their work spans multiple sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial, education and refurbishment, with projects located across London and the wider UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of their own projects while playing a key role within the Ely office. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, support junior team members and help drive the continued development of the team.
