Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor - Mixed-Use & Multi-Media Projects (PCSA/Pre-Con Focus)

Freelance / Outside IR35 Ltd Company or PAYE only.

Rate:

Competitive Daily Rate (DOE)

We're seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in pre-construction services agreements (PCSA) to join a high-profile mixed-use development project that includes multi-media and commercial space. This freelance opportunity is ideal for a commercially astute QS who thrives in early-stage project planning, procurement strategy, and front-end cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead cost planning and procurement strategy during PCSA phase
2. Liaise with design, planning, and commercial teams to ensure cost-effective development
3. Provide detailed cost reports, risk assessments, and value engineering input
4. Prepare tender packages and negotiate early trade contracts
5. Interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Senior QS on mixed-use or media/commercial developments
2. Strong background in pre-construction / PCSA stages
3. Able to work independently and integrate with a wider project team
4. Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
5. Immediate availability preferred
