Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kingston upon Hull

Role Responsibilities

• Perform Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
• Coordinate AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
• Provide information for Monthly Reports
• Review EW notifications & BUK responses or notifications downstream & upstream
• Liaise with clients on compensation events, payment queries, or disallowed items
• Conduct Cost Analysis via SAP & Power BI
• Assist Construction Management with Project Board Reports
• Calculate BOQ star rates
• Remeasure BOQ
• Update Commercial Registers (CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices)
• Draft notifications and letters
• Oversee Subcontract Management processes
• Perform Value analysis (SOR, FP, day works)
• Manage Change Management processes (Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events)
• Handle Payment Applications & Invoicing
• Innovate to improve job margins

Experience Required

• Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
• Experience with major Construction Projects
• Familiarity with NEC4 Option B Contracts
• Understanding of Standard Method of Measurement
• Basic knowledge of P6 programmes
