Job summary

Cast Consultancy in London is seeking a motivated Senior Cost Consultant to join our team, leading cost management across residential projects and guiding delivery from early planning through to completion. The role is full-time with hybrid working between home and office.

You will work with clients and project teams across the UK (£20m - £150m) and mentor junior staff while developing data-driven approaches to cost management.

Qualifications

• MRICS preferred or another relevant professional qualification.
• Strong technical capability across core cost management and project delivery processes.
• Commercial awareness with an understanding of residential cost drivers and development objectives.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing workloads across multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in digital and data-driven approaches within construction and cost management.
• Passion for the Real Estate and Construction Industry and developing a long-term consultancy career.

We’re looking for a motivated Senior Cost Consultant to join our London team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across both pre- and post-contract cost management stages, with the confidence to lead project delivery and support client relationships.

This full-time, hybrid role involves working with clients and project teams to deliver residential developments across the UK (£20m - £150m), reporting directly to an Associate Director or Director while leading high-profile schemes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead day-to-day cost management activities across assigned projects
• Manage cost planning, procurement, and post-contract delivery through to project completion
• Work closely with clients, consultants, and wider project teams to support successful project outcomes
