Job summary

Cast Consultancy in London is seeking a motivated Project Cost Consultant to join our team. The role covers cost management across pre- and post-contract stages for residential developments across the UK (£20m-£150m).

You will report to a Senior Cost Consultant or Associate Director and work in a hybrid setup with clients and project teams, delivering high-profile schemes and advancing data-driven cost management approaches.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified or APC process preferred.
• Understanding of core cost management services and project delivery processes.
• Developing commercial awareness and understanding of client objectives and project drivers.
• Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Adaptable and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in digital and data-driven approaches within construction and cost management.
• Passion for the Real Estate and Construction Industry and a desire to develop a long-term consultancy career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Support day-to-day cost management activities across assigned projects
• Assist with cost planning, procurement, and post-contract services
• Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and wider project teams to support successful project delivery
• Contribute to commercial reporting and help monitor project financial performance
• Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Support the continued development of data-led and digital approaches to cost management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• MRICS qualified or currently undertaking the APC process preferred
