Job summary

First Recruitment Group is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Managing Quantity Surveyor to support major Thames Water infrastructure projects in London. The role combines commercial leadership with project delivery across water and wastewater schemes, reporting to the commercial team and collaborating with design, construction and supply chain partners.

The successful candidate will manage NEC contracts, settlements and valuation processes, ensuring cost control, risk management and value

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within utilities, water, civil engineering or MEICA.
• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• Working towards or holding professional accreditation (RICS, ICES or similar).

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial delivery of major water infrastructure projects.
• Administering NEC contracts, applications for payment and subcontract agreements.
• Producing cost reports, forecasts, budgets and valuations.
• Working closely with project, design and supply chain teams to control costs and maximise value.

Looking to play a key role in delivering major Thames Water infrastructure projects?

On behalf of a tier 1 contractor client we are looking for Quantity Surveyors to join its commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of large-scale water and wastewater projects across the Thames Water framework.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading water sector contractors with a strong pipeline of AMP projects and long-term career progression opportunities.
