Job summary

Falcon Green in London seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial team on a £80 million residential scheme and contribute to a £700 million project pipeline in London and surrounding areas. The role is on-site with the commercial and production teams, offering responsibility for package budgets, cost analysis, and staff development.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a Project Surveyor
• Residential experience on projects over £20M value
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage individuals

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial team of surveyors
• Manage the budgets of all packages across the project
• Train and develop junior commercial staff
• Produce regular cost analyses for the project
• Liaise with the project lead to ensure production stays within budget
• Report to a visiting Commercial Manager and maintain client/consultant relationships

Tier 1 Main Contractor - Senior Quantity Surveyor

One of the UKs leading Tier 1 main contractors is looking for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in London, initially a £80 Million residential scheme in North London. With a strong pipeline of work within private residential and commercial sectors this contractor has a flow of projects in London and surrounding area of approximately £700 Million.

The individual will be based on site with the commercial and production teams. They will have many duties, key aspects of the job being;

• Managing commercial team or at least 3 surveyors
• Manage the commercials of all packages across the project.
• Training and developing junior commercial staff.
• Producing regular cost analysis of the project.
• Liaising closely with the project lead ensuring production stays in line with project budget.
• Reporting to a visiting Commercial Manager.
• Build relationship within the business and with client and consultants.

The individual will have a key role in the delivery of this flagship London project and will have the opportunity to lead future projects of similar scale in the future.

To fully suit the position the SQS must fit the following criteria;

• 3-5 years at least as a Project Surveyor.

• BSc or similar in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
