Severfield plc is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Sellafield Westlakes site. You will lead commercial and contractual management across client and subcontract packages, ensuring cost control, reporting, and value forecasting.
The role requires strong NEC3/NEC4 knowledge (A & C), excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team on heavily regulated projects.

Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the‑art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. In this role, you will take the lead on commercial and contractual management of Client-facing contracts in addition to a range of subcontract packages, including steel erection, cladding and metal decking. You’ll be responsible for managing cost control, monitoring commercial performance, and ensuring accurate and timely cost/value reporting and cash‑flow forecasting.
To succeed, you’ll need strong contractual awareness with a solid understanding of NEC3/NEC4, particularly Options A and C, alongside experience using standard methods of measurement.
