Job summary

Equal Resourcing in West London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take charge of your own packages on a major multi‑disciplinary infrastructure programme, delivering commercial leadership with autonomy and rigour.

You will manage NEC Option A contracts, produce accurate forecasts, handle valuations and cashflows, prepare payment applications, and present the commercial position to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of managing change from start to finish.
• Confidence with measurement, valuations, and cost control.
• Ability to build accurate forecasts and explain the numbers.
• Experience in preparing applications and managing commercial submissions.
• Ability to build and maintain cashflows.
• Confidence to lead CVRs and present to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Run the commercial side of your packages with confidence and autonomy.
• Manage NEC Option A contracts properly, getting the notices right, keeping the process tight, and protecting value.
• Spot change early, price it accurately, and get it agreed.
• Keep measurements and valuations sharp for a clear commercial picture.
• Produce forecasts that highlight risks and opportunities and where the job is heading.
• Prepare and review payment applications accurately and defensibly.
• Build and maintain cashflows reflecting what’s happening on the ground.
• Lead monthly CVRs and present the commercial position with clarity and confidence.
