Job summary

Gigawatt Industries is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility across a portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects from tender and pre-construction through delivery and final account.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Estimating, Operations and Finance to keep projects commercially controlled, identify risks early, and protect margins while delivering robust commercial reporting.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor experience in electrical infrastructure
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Experience managing projects from tender through final account

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects from tender and pre-construction through delivery and final account
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimating, Operations and Finance to keep projects commercially controlled and margins protected
• Manage project performance, subcontractor procurement and contracts, with robust commercial reporting

Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects, from tender and pre-construction through delivery to final account, and help shape a growing commercial function.

Gigawatt Industries is a rapidly growing electrical infrastructure business delivering complex projects across the UK. We work across EV charging, grid connections, HV works, civils and electrical infrastructure, providing an end-to-end service from initial design and development through to construction, installation and commissioning.,With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth across the UK, we are strengthening our commercial function with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take commercial responsibility across a portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects, managing them from tender and pre-construction through delivery and final account.

Working closely with Project Managers, Estimating, Operations, Finance and senior leadership, you will make sure projects are commercially controlled, risks are identified early and expected margins are achieved.

This is a broad commercial role covering project performance, subcontractor management, procurement, contracts and commercial reporting.
