Due to winning further work my client are looking to add a project Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to the team. You will be working on a variety of projects ranging in value from £50,000 up to £6M. The types of projects you will be involved in will include, new jetties, new piers, piling, coastal defence works, bridge protection. All of these projects are in a water environment and you will be reporting into the head of commercial who has been with the business for the past 8 years and started there as a Senior Quantity Surveyor before working his way up to this position. There is also lots of room for growth within the commercial team as the company continues to grow and win more work. This role will be based out of the head office in Dawlish and will include an element of hybrid working. You will need to have experience running your own jobs up to £6m and you will be comfortable taking the lead on these projects and having others reporting into you.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Civil Engineering company, ideally a sub contractor. You will need to have at least 3 years experience of working in the UK and I am looking for someone who has been with their current company for at least 3 years. You will be degree qualified and have strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
