My client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team working on the EKFB section of HS2, one of the UK's largest and most significant infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong main contractor background to take commercial responsibility for major infrastructure works, supporting the successful delivery of a complex civil engineering programme.
Working within the Milton Keynes office, you will be responsible for managing commercial activities across project packages, including subcontractor management, cost control, change management and commercial reporting. You will work closely with operational and project delivery teams to ensure commercial risks are effectively managed and project objectives are achieved.
The role requires someone with extensive experience working under NEC contracts, ideally NEC3, who is confident taking ownership of commercial responsibilities and operating with a high degree of independence.
The position offers hybrid working, with an expectation of three days per week in the Milton Keynes office, although additional office attendance may be required during the initial onboarding period. Occasional travel to project sites will also be necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, offering genuine commercial responsibility, hybrid working and long-term career development within a major civil engineering programme.
