DeverellSmith Group in London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to take a lead commercial role across residential, co-living and PBSA schemes, spanning 20m to 100m projects.

You will manage cost planning, tendering, procurement and cashflow, liaising with client and contractor teams, and supporting delivery from feasibility to practical completion. MRICS or APC progression and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• - MRICS qualified or working toward APC with completion targeted within 12 months.
• - Experience in a cost consultancy environment; contractor-side QSs moving into consultancy also considered.
• - Confident with measurement software and advanced Excel.
• - Strong experience administering JCT contracts.
• - Background in residential new-build and/or Industrial & Logistics projects.
• - Strong commercial and cost-planning experience.
• - Excellent attention to detail and technical proficiency.
• - Able to manage multiple priorities with a collaborative, team-focused approach.

The team brings together quantity surveyors, project managers, engineers and client-side cost and project management professionals, delivering a diverse range of projects across London and the wider UK - with live schemes spanning Residential, Co-Living and PBSA (from 50 to 500+ apartments), Industrial & Logistics, and commercial office. Projects range from 20m to 100m, covering both new-build and refurbishment, from feasibility through to practical completion.

This is a great opportunity for a QS looking to develop their career in a varied, forward-thinking environment. We're looking for someone full-time with a strong grounding in the living sector, cost planning and JCT contract administration. An immediate start is available.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take an active commercial role across a range of projects, working towards a lead position and liaising closely with client and contractor teams to ensure successful delivery. You'll become a key point of contact within the project team, helping guide schemes from feasibility and cost planning through tendering, procurement, construction and practical completion.
