Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience in large refurbishment contracts in hospitality is an advantage.
• Ability to prepare and agree final accounts.

About

Applewood Construction provide a quality Construction service, ranging from Fitout projects to new build projects, primarily to the hospitality sector and latterly bespoke housing projects for disabled/assisted living accommodation.

Whilst Applewood Construction was only recently formed in 2019, the current team of 11 hold a wealth of industry & sector knowledge spanning over 35 years.

With positive repeat business growth, Applewood are looking to build and develop the team and recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

5 to 10 years' experience in the industry, as a Contractor’s or Sub-Contractor’s Senior Quantity Surveyor you will offer a range of commercial services across a variety of Build sectors. Experience of fast changing, large refurbishment Contracts within the hospitality sector would be an advantage.

As Senior QS you will be responsible for all post tender aspects of a number of projects including preparing and agreeing final accounts, management of sub-contractors accounts and full financial management/control of each project including producing monthly cost/value reconciliations.

Developing a portfolio of clients you will be responsible for all the commercial aspects of each project.
