BGEN Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven MEICA experience to support large-scale, complex programmes at the Hinkley Point C site. You’ll provide commercial leadership, manage project costs, and forecast financial performance while overseeing subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
The role reports into the Commercial Manager and offers hybrid working after probation, with opportunities to shape a new commercial team as our pipeline grows.

This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions.
We are strengthening our Major Projects capability and are seeking Senior Quantity Surveyor with proven MEICA experience to support the delivery of large-scale, complex programmes. This is a pivotal role with direct reporting into senior leadership, offering the opportunity not only to take ownership of major projects but also to help shape and build a new commercial team as our project pipeline grows.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor for BGEN at the Hinkley Point C site, this role provides commercial leadership and project control, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. Responsibilities include managing project costs, commercial performance, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery. The role oversees subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and supplier performance, while leading estimating and pricing activities to support business objectives. Strong client relationship management is essential, alongside identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial risks. Working across multiple disciplines, the position provides leadership and collaboration to project teams, driving performance, value, compliance, and successful commercial outcomes.
