Job summary

Navartis Ltd in Brandesburton, East Riding of Yorkshire, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide surveying capability to the Commercial Team on modular build projects across the UK. You will manage account development, payments, and final accounts, working closely with Project Managers and Sub-Contractors to maximise value and deliver on time.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, extensive QS experience in modular offsite construction, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10 years Quantity Surveying experience within construction ideally within modular construction or offsite manufacturing.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in use of MS Office particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Account Development Reviews to clients regularly.
• Prepare and issue Applications for Payment to clients promptly.
• Prepare and settle Final Accounts within two months of project completion.
• Recover retention.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Managers to understand issues and progress on site.
• Issue Sub-Contract Works Orders.
• Issue variations to Sub-Contract Works Orders.
• Measure Sub-Contractor performance and quality on site.
• Review and approve Sub-Contractor payments and issue payment certificates.
• Authorize Purchase Orders for payment (receipting).
• Manage Sub-Contractor Final Accounts.
• Prepare re-measure reports for Commercial Manager.
• Prepare and issue project-related reports as required by the Commercial Manager.

One of the UK's leading offsite construction companies specialising in the design and delivery of purpose-built modular solutions for sites and applications across the UK is looking to hire a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Brandesburton, East Riding of Yorkshire to provide surveying capability to the Commercial Team on a variety of modular build projects

Senior Quantity Surveyor Accountabilities

• Prepare and issue Account Development Review to Clients regularly
• Prepare and issue Applications for Payment to Clients on a timely basis and obtain necessary Client approval
• Prepare and settle Final Account within two months of completion of the project
• Recover retention

Experience, Qualifications & Training:

Salary

Between £67.000 - £80,000 dependant on level of expertise plus 25 days holidays, very competitive pension scheme, company incentive scheme and more
